Should euthanasia be considered a human right or should it be considered a crime? Most governments around the world do not allow mercy-killings, but when the general public are asked, most people do approve of the idea of helping terminally ill patients.
Who should carry out the euthanasia? Most peoples' answer would be the doctors however many doctors do not want to be the ones to administer the lethal injection and they wonder what happens afterwards, will they now be murderers?Or is it possible to distinguish between the various ways of ending a fellow human's life?
Who has the right to approve those suitable for euthanasia? Should people who plan to commit suicide have the option of active euthanasia, so that they can end their life in a more dignified and humane way?
Its a much debated topic, and it appears that there will always be many arguments both for and against.
